Is this a bug or did something change in the spine wrap? I presume this change was to fix the unpredictability of the deformers based on their relative position you used to get bizarre results depending on the positions of the objects be affected.

Yes it was the bounding box. Spline Wrapper is sppine plugin dedicated to spline objects. Could be a bug as you would expect to it to work like the R14 version.

You are able to use Sweep NURBS to create cross linked veins, nets, wrap elements around logos, characters or anything you can imagine. Anyway, I just want to reconfirm that this problem only seems to happen in R15, and that it works just fine when tested in R No matter — if you are a registered owner of Spline Wrapper version 1, then version 2 is being offered as a free update.

Just rotate your emitter ever so slightly and it will work. Need a scene file please. I can only find a 2D sizing parameter for the spline wrap.

Posted October 25, If it’s a zpline I’ll pass on to Maxon. I used to put a standard emitter and a spline wrap deformer in a null.

I know all my xyz’s were right because it had worked fine in the previous version. Then I make a spline, drop it in the spline wrap spline field, and voila – my particles follow the spline path.

I thought maybe it was a bug from moving versions so I redid the spline wrap from scratch. I was tinkering around in c4d r15 on a coworkers computer, contemplating whether to take the plunge or not when I noticed an issue with a project I loaded that i had built in r You have to feed some kind of geometry to emitter and check show objects checkbox to see any effect.

The spline wrap was screwed up flattened when wwrap was nested in a null. You have to manually adjust region of influence of spline wrap to cover all particles. Using geom in the emitter and show objects is on.

I attached my tester, it works in 13, not It does indeed work fine. I’m running a newer version of R15 than what you are. This topic is now closed to further replies.
